Group H
Azerbaijan dropped a 1-0 decision at home to Norway with Havard Nordtveit scoring the lone goal of the contest in the 25th minute. Italy and Croatia clashed in Rome and played to a 1-1 draw. The game was halted for about 10 minutes when Croatian fans lit numerous flares and threw several of them onto the pitch. UEFA should punish Croatia for the incident as well as Italy for allowing fans to sneak the flares into the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (San Siro) in Milan. Antonio Candreva put Italy in front after 11 minutes and Ivan Perišić leveled things up five minutes later.

Bulgaria took on Malta at home and the match ended in a disappointing 1-1 draw for the hosts. Andrey Galabinov gave Bulgaria an early 1-0 lead after six minutes, but Clayton Failla drew the game from the penalty spot in the 49th minute. Ivelin Popov then had a chance to give the hosts the lead in the 76th minute, but blasted his penalty shot over the crossbar.
